UPDATE: 10.13 PM i just got back from school, had my late night microeconomics class. tonight's lecture was ok, lots of graphs-drawing & little jokes from mark harris. it's quiet fun actually~ the GOOD news is, i have ANOTHER date with him & the rest 190 kiddos tomorrow morning @ 8.30AM! -.-
i just have to be in love with econs...
***
George Sampson, Britain's Got Talent 2008 WINNER!!!!!!! he is soooooooo.... CUTE, ADORABLE, and definitely TALENTED! he is only 14 years old man~~~ he's a great dancer n oh my gosh! look at him when he smiled or laughed..... it's irresistibly adorable!
visit his website, here. and....... see his videos!!!
His video during audition 2007. he didn't made it to the next round, HOWEVER, HE IS SOOOOOO CUTEEEE!!!!!!! great performance! i was amazed.
Simon Cowell was like 0.0!!!
george is amazing!
and this is his performance during the 2008 finals!
oh george, you have such a winning KILLING smile. *melts* i wanna see more videos of you!!!! :p
i have VERY interesting story for you. of course, it's something about MY DAY. today, is a VERY VERY VERY important day... why? because it's my first 'LOVELY' microeconomics class that I've been waiting for!
so, the class was at 8.30 AM... and my alarm rang at . . . . . .
8.30 AM!!!
what..... the....... HELL...........
i should go back to primary 2 when i learnt all the CLOCK & TIMING, AM & PM -.- i set my alarm at 8.30 & 8.40 while my class was at ... 8.30 oh my... that's RIDICULOUS!
and you know what?! this happened FIRST TIME in my life and WHY... WHY it has to be my first microecons class *cry* and my teacher is a KILLERRRR.. he doesn't like people who is LATE. ( i knew that from my friend) and he starts lecture right after his super brief intro. -.-
i dashed to my bathroom, took a quick bath and raaaaaannnn all the way to the bus stop. and you know what?
IT WAS RAINING VERRRRY VERRRRRY HARD.
took out my umbrella, put on my jacket, waited for the TAXI / bus to come. but as always, BUS DRIVERS, TAXIs & the NATURE don't want to co-orporate with me so... after 2x #48, 4x #106, 2x #7, and LOTS LOTS LOTS of booked taxi passed by,
my FUCKING FAVORITE BUS #75 CAMEEEEEE
it was 9.15 AM and the rain has not stopped. i was talking on the phone with eliz, nagging & screaming non-stoply while waiting for the bus AND on the way to school! crazy.........
i reached school at 9.30. GREAT! ONE HOUR LATEEEEEE!!!!! wow. i was hoping a long queue outside the lecture hall because everybody was late & came up with same reason - RAINING!!!!!!! *poof* it's only my wild imagination... the truth is...no one's outside that godamn lecture hall. Thus, after i collected my notes, i waited outside until the break started (around 30 minutes?)
at 10.02, everybody starts coming outta the room so, i went in! sat on the second last row and i can barely see what my lecturer was writing -.-
MARK HARRIS scared the hell out of meeeeee!!!!!!!!!! but what he said is true... DMS people should work their ass off to be in his class. it's tough. i remembered he said something like this:
(he was talking about Slutsky Principle) "oh... i'm sure DMS students are lost right now..."
(he clicked his remote & move on the next slide on powerpoint) *on screen: SIMPLE IN-KIND TRANSFER* (i was stunned)
"ooww... and you all will remain lost..."
me: *GREAT!*
He dismissed the class 15 minutes early for ex D.E & year 1 students... DMS students remained in the class. he talked about....... how tough this module is gonna be for us. i think it's true, i can't deny that DMS people has weak econs background and we have to really work hard for this.
As for me, NO! I'm not changing my module to managerial economics in fact, thank you to MICHAEL for the HUGE encouragement :) of course to MY MOMMY , DADDY & eliz too :D
i was msn-ing with michael and told him how scared i was about this micro module and 1 sentence that remained in my head was
"r u saying u're part of the 43%? even I think i belong to the 57%, it's HUGE. we're new batch of DMS remember?"
and yeah, i mentioned that in my post 2 days ago. i have to stand up for myself i'm gonna work hard & prove EVERYBODY who underestimated me... show the world what i've got! :D better work harrrrddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!
first of all, i have to go back to RELC (again) to pay the 52 pounds (again) because my credit card was rejected. (damn it!)
second of all, my microecons teacher said that his subject has passing rate of ONLY 57% and out of that 57%, 100 people are from DMS (diploma) and ONLY TWO PASSED. how's that sound? scarrrrry huh? that's what he said in his very first lecture and due to my HATRED of economics, i followed eliz & sherly steps, to change microeconomics module to MANAGERIAL ECONOMICS (no choice)!
Eliz & sherly has got their new M.E class on every friday 12 noon, which clash with my other class, C.F. so............I mailed my programme officer, hoping there's other classes available.
She replied me that there's only 2 classes available, TUESDAY (i have POA class) and SATURDAY.
so ok, i said, i want a saturday class. let me sacrifice my saturdays for this fucking m.e class... and she replied
"I’m afraid that’s not possible as Int’l students are not allowed to have classes on Thursdays and Saturdays due to their workshops."
oh no... now i'm left with TUESDAY which will make me go 2 classes a day! i mailed her. but she had not replied me back. may be tmrw? and i hoped she really can help me!
IN CONCLUSION, i am STRRRREEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if i can't get that tuesday class, i'm going back to the effing hard microeconomics classes. well ok, i wanna change to m.e module coz i thought i am among that 98 DMS people that failed. NOW, if i really have to go back to microecons, i must challenge myself n study (really really really really) hard, to be that 2 out of 100 DMS students that pass. THAT'S THE SPIRIT! rite?
anyway, why must i study econs while my major is accounting n finance? economics has NEVER be my favorite subject and WILL NEVER BE. i rather be hit by a car & stay in the hospital, playing the sims for 1 month than studying econs.
i'm in the wrong course, definitely. hello art & music, where are you?
