hello there! I felt really sleepy now... I want to search for law but my eyes just don't support me. hahaha. went out with the girls aft skul and I felt super weak in the bus... i don't know that DMS sem 5 will end uber fast and exam is in 1 month time. i was like... stunned-.- that's nuts man... i'm now concern abt I.S lecture which stopped in lec 4???? and we only have 8 more lessons to cover the whole syllabus and go for exam? that's a bit crazy isn't it. i'm now loading a SUPER BIG video and pictures (of course) for you to see... so i gotta wait for a while and rant here.
people seems not talking to me anymore. for some reason, I felt left out. well, not with my crazy bitches @ SIM... people from the good old days. people in my past. sometimes, I just want to go out with them, chit chat, catch up, holding a cup of hot choco and talk. maintaining relationship with FRIENDS only is hard enough, how abt gf/bf? I love to have MANY MANY friends. but it's just hard if you are separated by distance or simply you are not studying in the same place anymore. I hope it won't happen to my friends in SIM. they are just nice (although some are just immature) and clicked well with me. :)
Another thing is... I'm now terrified. i'm not revising macro well and it scares me A LOT. i freaked out for my micro paper and luckily i dun screw up the paper. I just can not STUDY STUDY STUDY. i have NO interest @ econs at all. please.. help meeeeeeeee. i really wanna revise like naomi, eliz, tiffani, sam... everyday read, and make summary of each chapters. I dunno why i just can't. well, LAW is in progress coz i think it's quiet interesting (although there's TONS of things to memorize) i really want to revise macro lec 3-9 -.- that's A LOT rite?!!!!!!
MOving on, (i'm like writing essay already, since i'm still uploading the pics and video) I want to join band again. i suddenly feel the URGE of playing music. play drum, play guitar, sing, play keyboard... just like what I did with the people from the good old days. well i miss the practices that we had before our performances. it's unforgettable. I remembered the day when I actually swap place with the drummer. I performed 1 song which I played the drum... one of the singer, (sta) played keyboard (my position) and ojek&robert sang. i can't remember the guitarist. but it's a great experience!!! =))
NEXT. why can't i take off my fingers from the keyboard. my fingers are all GLUED......... i just feel that I have to keep browsing browsing and browsing. hell, that's a waste of time.

well, there's this issue rising about "MACRO LECTURER" and create a big argument between people in the class. Some of them were STRONGLY agree that the lecturer can not teach and some are just feel they clicked with the way she taught. The one who really can not understand finally go and complain to admin. we pay SO MUCH money for a GOOD FACILITIES and QUALIFIED LECTURERS. so, of course, complain is one of the way. Well, I don't know why some of people in the class that feel macro lecturer can teach just hated people who go and complain? They just seek for what they deserve. I should agree with them though that compared to Mr. Tan, our previous teacher, the current macro lecturer teaching skill is far beyond him. I prefer No Thumb of course :)
People has started to blog about this issue, some of them telling the story in a good way, some of them just way too harsh. Some just trying to be funny and add some 'sarcastic' joke into it. Why should this PRO and CONS blogging started now??? I mean, don't you feel NOT ONLY this teacher can not teach? like... maths teacher for example? TQM teacher? they read every word flashed on the screen. Most of the students in class C agree that maths teacher can't teach and some of them clicked too? But it didn't create such argument like this? What makes the difference? Why people now talking abt people who complain abt the teacher? Is it because they like how she teach? or they are just looking for a 'pass' grade? or they don't mind who teach, anywae they can study themselves and no need to attend class? I'm an international student and schooling here is not easy. I'm not only looking for a C... I want As and Bs. I have to attend classes in order to understand the lectures. I pay hell lots of money to get a QUALIFIED teachers.
I'm quiet disappointed though that SIM provide such not-up-to-standard lecturers PLUS out batch is the first new batch under Uni SIM and we're the guinea pigs! The issue about macro lecturer is just because they wanna test if lecturers really can teach! You see... how many SAME lecturers that the 18th intake and above have like us? They just want to see if they are really qualified!!!! :(
I also think there's a BIG misunderstanding for the GIRLS who left the lecture on the day admin did the voting. we left coz we want to do project. we don't know that the admin was coming... we don't have six sense, duh?! we were not trying to escape! Do you think complaining abt the lecturer is some kind of joke? NO! coz we really need teacher who can TEACH, GIVE EXAMPLES PROPERLY and ANSWER to student's QUESTIONS correctly.
I hope the readers got what I mean. I don't hate macro lecturer. I don't blame her if I didn't get A... it's all up to me. to STUDY or NOT to STUDY. there's NO WAY you can get good result if you don't struggle yourself. teacher are just here to help you understand better, not make things worst.
and I really wanna ask WHY international students and local students are treated differently? it's so unfair that international students MUST take econs bridging program NO MATTER what. I asked 'what if a singaporean failed his/her econs in DMS or scored a D??" answer:"it's not compulsory for them to take" ... we have struggled to score as high as possible for econs and they don't even consider our score? MONEY MONEY MONEY. all they think is money. damn. so unfair. the world is just unfair. huh~

went for dinner afterwards (it's still around 5 PM and my stomach growled alr) :p yummy salmon ^^ After dinner, me and Naomi headed home took 961 from Central mall in CLARKE QUAY and we end up in... esplanade (otw) BOON KENG?!!!! and stopped in Kallang. @ the end we took MRT. we took the WRONG direction. we were chatting and chatting until Naomi notice the sign "Lavender rd" 0.o!! we did explore Singapore. so small yet so complicated we're LOST in this small Singapore man. wahahaha

Walked to the expo hall and we should register first before we can go inside the hall itself. They give a slip to fill in and they key in all the info to the comp. Put it in a bar code and we can go around the expo hall and APPLY for job with just 1 scan. WOOOOW! so cool isn't it???? :D

When you first went inside, you can see LOTS of laptops in 1 counter. This computers are for you to key in your resume for jobs. (then you can start scanning ur barcode to the company which offer suitable job for you) COOOL!!!! hahaha

After the career fair ends, we went to the food republic to have dinner. But the funny thing was, me and tong were going around looking for food for TWO round and we still dunno what to buy and eat. -.- so we only buy bread from toastbox!!!

In the middle of chatting... suddenly I heard a moaning sound from the window. I was shocked and stopped all my activities, try to know what is that voice all about. I was quiet scared really. I went to naomi's room and asked her. She ALSO HEAR THE SAME THING and she even saw the girl!!!! omg. Naomi said she fell down from the SECOND floor to 1st floor which is approx 4 METERS+ and hurt her back. I looked through the window and I saw a handphone on the second floor and it was SCARY. a few minutes later ME NAOMI AND NICOLE saw the girl took the phone while rubbing her back. WAT THE... it's SCARY RITE??????? the moan last for about 10-15 seconds and it really scares me!!!!! walao eeeee... luckily that girl is not dead or something. but why she jump? or she fell from second floor coz she slipped? wah lao. so scary. DUN WANNA THINK ABOUT IT ALREADY.

ALRITE, so I said ok lorrr... but as promised, I told eliz and the other girls that i'm moving my things @ 5PM so I DID. i cleared and cleaned my room, move it all to the new room :D. finished everything @ about 18.30 [SPECIAL THANKS TO ELIZ, PATRICK, TONG, YUNITA and SHERLY!!!! LOVE YOU ALL] then back to pandan valley to collect my deposit.....
i reached my unit @ 18.45 but my auntie still not there. After a while then she came, I think she was quiet shocked that I brought so many friends. hahaha AT LEAST they did not step onto ur house and you have no right to scold them!!!! :D she said wait for the agent a while, in 5 minutes time she's coming. Auntie started to explore my super clean room (with the agent of course) and she suddenly yelled (in chinese) "YOU MOVED ALL THE THINGS ALREADY???" I really want to say "of course lah idiot, THERE IS NOT EVEN A SINGLE FINGERPRINT LEFT HERE, still ask? stupid" and I said yeah. she was like, shocked and said YOU CAN NOT MOVE WHEN I'M NOT AROUND, YOU CAN JUST STEAL SOMETHING AND BRING IT TO YOUR NEW PLACE"
I was like?!!!!!!! WTF. STEAL?!!!! you think I'm a thief issit? HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I can buy anything that you have in ur house, WHY SHOULD I STEAL. actually this auntie still got her brain or not? can suspect me for STEALING?! wtf wtf wtf. her agent defended her ALSO. quadrupled WTF. "I WILL NEVER STEAL" i defend-ed myself.

Firstly, we would like to apologise for the recent cancellation of lectures.
We have made some changes with effect from 21 Jan week onwards and are would like to inform you of the followings:
1. Your Macroeconomics lectures will be scheduled on every Mondays and Tuesdays.
2. Your ISB lectures will be scheduled on every Thursdays and Fridays.
3. The lab session originally scheduled on 28 Jan will be re-scheduled to 31 Jan 08.
4. The Macroeconomics lecture scheduled on 19 Feb will be cancelled as you would have attended 14 lectures by 18 Feb 08.
5. The make-up ISB lectures are scheduled on 25 Feb 08 from 9.30am to 5pm.
6. Ms Tan Bee Lay , lecturer for ISB, will be replaced by Mr Allen Lok with effect from 21 Jan 08 week onwards.

I love to write about things happening in my life, my thoughts and my ideas. people DO read my blog and post some comments about my things. readers also have their own opinion about certain things and looking @ the case in different angles. it's good to have suggestions from readers but they should not judge WHAT TO WRITE and WHAT IS NOT. i mean, HELLOWWWW! it's my blog! duh?! i write everything I want here, it's MY homepage not yours! I DID write things that make people angry, offended or dis-agreed about. but that's what blogging is all about! we share thoughts! if reader dun like things we wrote then don't read! as simple as that...

watching Project Runway season 1 right now. Recommended by Naomi and I think it's an interesting reality show. I kinda like it :)
First week of school had ended and that shows how fast time goes by... Can't believe i'm in sem 5 and passed every semester with no failures and ugly "D". I was pretty much shocked that some of people I knew since school starts aren't here anymore because they were either caught cheating or failed the module 2x. wasted, that's all I can say. As a student, STUDY HARD is a must! actually, that's the only thing that a student MUST do. cheating isn't going to make you get BEST SCORE that you could get, or even get better result than other people... WHAT IF you were caught cheating? it didn't worth that much! Cheating is a serious case I guess and Class C is so unlucky that MANY people were caught cheating this sem. Those who failed the module twice, that's really a waste of money and time. I don't know what to say... no offense but perhaps You guys aren't working hard enough to pass the module :(
I kena caught cheating before, that's why I dare to tell people NOT TO CHEAT and criticize them here. People cheat during their secondary school (everybody does i guess) and yeah, it's really fun. but I realized, what do I get from cheating? I didn't gain ANYTHING! I change, people change... I'm not a high school kid anymore. I have to be matured enough to understand about 'not to cheat' understanding. I hope my fellow classmates that can't continue their study in SIM will have a better understanding and willing to work harder next time. all the best for them. :D

The I.T lecturer never come for our very first lecture and was replaced by other girl-looks-like-a-boy teacher. She teaches fast but all the stuff she talked about this morning were very familiar to me :D So, I am actually quiet excited about this module :) Today is Naomi's 20th bdae!!! so we started the day by taking picture with the bdae girl :p After school, I went off with Mandy to 'graphic point', they are organizing an event for upcoming Chinese New Year and I was there to TRY OUT for a catwalk. I just wanna gain some experience, that's all. It will be cool doing catwalk here... :D

Something odd happened today~ just wanna blog this before I forgot this really happened! This afternoon, I was walking with Eliz on the way to Takashimaya and I said there is no need to dress properly as in very neat and girly coz there is very little probability to meet someone I knew here in town because I don't really have many friends who actually live in Singapore. Eliz was just nodding and agree with me~~
We continue walking to paragon and when we were on the escalator, there were 2 little girls giggling around and Eliz yelled "WHAT THE HELL" very loud! I felt I've seen 1 of the girls before but anywae... just ignore them. we continue walking to the next escalator that will bring us to the other level and I said to Eliz that I think I knew them but I wasn't sure abt it. When I turned my back I saw the WHOLE FAMILY of the kids looking @ us and yelled "VICKY?! VICKY ya?!" I looked at the auntie and I realised she is one of my mom's arisan friends. I just waved and went off.
Well, after buying the things eliz's mom need, we head back to Orchard MRT to go home and on the way... I met my classmate's sister from Indo and she's studying in SIM now. wat a co incidence!
This haven't finish yet. The amazing part is... Just now I went to Clementi MRT food court to buy dinner and when I was about to go off, somebody was calling my name out loud. I wasn't sure it was my name but I turned back anywae and saw my SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHER it's like OMG! I never see her in 1/2 years since I graduated? and she's PREGNANT! she was eating with her husband. We chatted for a while and I went home.
What an odd thing I had today~ I guess this is one of the odd-est thing in my life! :D
Anywae, tomorrow gonna be my first "Information Technology for Business" class. I was excited to know that the 1st group CA is... CREATING WEBSITE!!!! :D I was totally excited! heee... I hope I will do well for this one! ^^ Today's macroecons lecture was supeeeerrrr loooooooong, the teacher, Mrs.Liang LOVES to talk and she lecture very slow. Not like our "no-thumb" lecturer who happens to teach the other half of C class, lectured VERY FAST! I hope she will not be that boring next time :)

3 December, I went back to Jakarta with Yunita and... I got myself a new haircut!!! :)

Several days after my arrival, my cousins came to attend my daddy's birthday party :D happy birthday daddy!ohana means family... family means EVERYTHING :)

The next day...we went to Senayan City to... just walk around~ and there was this store... DAMN! this NIKE STORE was crazily MESSY and the shoe boxes were practically EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!I can't even walk properly. The shoes are everywhere! the shoes and the boxes are blocking the way and really hard to move around. I found some nice sneakers but really... I can not find the other pair!!! wat the hell... it was really hard to get the person in charge to find the other half of the shoes coz its FREAKING CROWDED and all the boxes were messed up! i decided..... not to buy anything.

the day after senayan city... went to GLODOK. Guys, this is HEAVEN for all of you who are movie lovers. but take note, THEY ARE ALL PIRATED with ORIGINAL MOVIE QUALITY! damn. I love this place!!!!lots and lots of DVDs... [even PORN, they have!]
then went to some accessories shop, accompany my cousins to buy some to sell back in their hometown the pregnant lady choosing the accessories :p
me and my other cousins were bored to death and started to cam-whore. LOL!
LOOK AT THAT HUGE PLASTIC BAG!!!! that's a lot of things inside man. After Glodok, they sent me to Erha Clinic to... "fix my face" the doctor told me a week before that he will do "elecro(#$^!(@&$ surgery" and wow... take a look at the operation room!

I waited for the doctor about 40 mins? and he did my face for only 10 mins! WOW. wat a "paid-off"?!
doctor: you're done, you can get up now
me: huh? like that only? I waited for so long and it only takes 10 mins?
doctor: ya... u want to wait for a short time and longer operation time issit?
me: *silent* thanks doctor... bye
quiet true actually~~~ I dun want they touch my face for loooooong looooong hours. it's like freaking painful and I'm paying for every single pimple they inject ok?! damn~
after the 'operation' my face was fcking red and HORRIBLE. some more, my cousins took me to E.X to dine... wat the... but whatever, I need food anyway. :D
dine @ CALIFORNIA KITCHEN PIZZA the pizza is wonderful!!! I swear they were much much better than PIZZA HUT! the fettuccine and garlic bread are also nice. i'm lovin' it :D
The next day, my cousins are all back to their hometown early in the morning. I was feeling left out and finally I decided to join my mom at noon for a small Buddhist gathering @ i-forgot-the-name Hotel. the talk was about WHO AM I? and it's quiet interesting...
The rest of the days (14-18), I totally forgot what I did. Last day before my Klaten-Bali trip, I went down with my brother to renew my passport. That's all I guess. I shall continue the picture-story on my next post~ (abt my trip!) going to watch survivor now. blog soon!
Looking back to 2007... It all started in Singapore and after 1 year, here I am still in Singapore. Never thought that time will fly by so fast. I gained so much things since I got here. I did so many things I never did before. It's been 1 year I'm away from my family (although I did go back to Indo during holidays) , I learned how to be independent, learned to take care of myself, learned to survive. I feel it was just a week ago since the very first orientation I had in Singapore, get to know new friends from all around the world. Now, I've been with them for a year. I even spent my sweet 17 with multi-nationality friends! that's rare ok?! hehehe :) 2007 is OVER. Let all the bitter memories and feelings buried and let sweet memories stays.
It's 2008!!! it's the start of something new!!! I hope I can be a better person for the world. happy new year :D

31 Dec 07 me and my family went to "Grand Indonesia" to have lunch in Crystal Jade Palace with my uncle's family. Never take picture over there... Then... because I got nothing to do, me and my mom went to Kuningan to shop~~~

after shopping, me, my mom and my uncle's fam went home and pass by "pasar kopro"
it was VERY VERY crowded!!! lots of people selling trumpet, fire crackers, sparkles... etc etc etc everyone are getting ready for new year!!! so... we bought some too!!!
you see?!!!! soooooo MANY!!! hehehe...
we decided to spend the countdown of 2008 at HOME! coz, home sweet home!!! lol we light the things we bought~~~ it was quiet fun! :D
my mommy give daddy a NEW YEAR kiss! lol... while the children singing.. "under my umbrella... ella... ella... ee.. e... e..." hahaha~ yeap, it was raining that night. but still we light the sparkles? (issit the correct word?)
Actually, we never really did the countdown because we were in the front yard watching our neighbors' fireworks... it was really pretty!!! I will post the video later when I got time to upload! :)
IN THE MORNING... 1 Jan 2008,
woke up late in the first day of 2008. What a long and fun night we had yesterday. Decided to go out and have lunch together (my last meal in indo!) in... it's a japanese restaurant... all about shabu" and sushi and you know~~ ^^

the food was delicious! I love it. especially the salmon teriyaki. the taste is wonderful! :D Walked around Puri Mall for a while then went home. packed my things up and bath then off to the airport.
me and Yunita took same flight to go back SG... met her in airport and flew back to Singapore. Reach SG around... 11.50 PM and reach home around 1 AM. wat the hell... and we are able to take today's morning class!!!! and my first lesson is... BUSINESS LAW!!!! hohoho... the teacher was quiet lame but ANYWAE I'm excited that school starts again. i'm really happy to meet all of my friends again. :D ok, it's 12.30 AM now, I should sleep now coz morning class is waiting for me!!!! first macro class tmrw!!! JIA YOU!

ALRITE, so I said ok lorrr... but as promised, I told eliz and the other girls that i'm moving my things @ 5PM so I DID. i cleared and cleaned my room, move it all to the new room :D. finished everything @ about 18.30 [SPECIAL THANKS TO ELIZ, PATRICK, TONG, YUNITA and SHERLY!!!! LOVE YOU ALL] then back to pandan valley to collect my deposit.....
